Central’s plan as we shelter-in-place

Officials in 6 Bay Area counties have ordered a near-lockdown, which began March 17. One of those counties is Santa Clara, thereby affecting those of us who attend Central Church of Christ in San Jose.

As a result, here are the current updates from Church Affairs Committee:

1. Unfortunately, there will be no small groups at all during this near-lockdown phase, in addition to there being no church services at the 1170 Foxworthy Avenue location.

2. We will still livestream Bible lessons/sermons on Wednesday night and Sunday mornings, albeit simpler in format than we had planned. The streams will be available on the church’s Facebook page both for live and later viewing:

You do not have to have a Facebook account to access the page.

3. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend a drop-off option for giving, however mail-in and our Paypal link are still available.

4. We encourage members to purchase their own communion supplies rather than picking them up from the church building. If unable to do so, please contact the office via email.

Please continue to stay in prayer and keep trusting in God! Also, please keep in mind medical providers and their safety. We ask that you keep one another in prayer and express your love for others by staying in touch, encouraging and supporting one another.
